Read the tool comparisonFrequently asked questions
01Is the image translator free?
Yes. You can translate up to 3 images per day without an account or payment. The allowance is shared by people using the same public IP address and resets at midnight in Japan.
02Which image files can I upload?
JPG, PNG, WebP, still GIF and HEIC are supported, up to 10 MB. The browser converts the image to a supported size and format before sending it.
03Can I download the translated image?
Yes. After translation, compare it with the original and download it as PNG or WebP. Text extraction is also available separately when the service is ready.
04Are Chinese and English supported?
Yes. You can choose Chinese as the source and English as the target, or choose Simplified or Traditional Chinese as the target. Website language and image target language are separate settings.
05Will the layout stay exactly the same?
Not always. Text length, vertical writing, dense diagrams and complex backgrounds can cause line breaks, missing text or altered layout. Always compare important details with the original.
06Do you store my pictures?
We do not save image contents or translated text in our application storage or logs. DeepL processes translations, and Cloudflare Workers AI processes the translated image only when you request text extraction. Their own policies apply.
